Hi folks, Welcome to The Lost Highway. My name’s Matt and I’ve been covering country music online for nine years. In that time I have written for About Country Music, co-authored the now-defunct Countryfans.net and have been a heavy contributor to www.epinions.com writing about many topics but mostly being the site’s ‘go-to guy’ for anything country.
This Blog was created as a place for me to share my views on country music (and related artists, genres, etc). I will focus on what’s ‘new and hot’ most of the time but songwriters and artists without major airplay or sales will also be covered.
We like your review of “Indianola”, and couldn’t agree more. It is a GREAT CD and worthy of radio play everywhere. Seems a shame that it isn’t all over the place. We have been listening to it since Bob Seger concert when we purchased it. There isn’t a bad song on it. You seem to have loads of music knowledge, and it is appreciated!!!!

Hi,
I am writing to let you know about one of Rascal Flatts biggest fans, Emily Noxon. Emily performed onstage with the band at their concert in Indianapolis Saturday after winning a Brickfish campaign sponsored by childhood health promoter MilkRocks. Emily’s rendition of the hit song “What Hurts the Most” beat out more than 340 entries and was viewed thousands of times across the Internet. She also won the chance to meet with an A&R executive from Lyric Street Records. Entries can be viewed at http://www.MilkRocks.com.
If you have any questions, please contact me at 858.587.2530 extension 421 or send me an email to ashley.futak@brickfish.com. Thank you!
Best regards,
